One Foot At A Time
1. Start soaking the foot where the blister was debrided once a day in lukewarm water and Epsom salts. You can use 4-5 tablespoons of Epsom salts in a half a gallon of lukewarm water. Soaking will need to be performed once a day.
2. Ase a Q-tip to clean out any loose tissue where the wart base is located.
3. Cover the surgical site using a thin film of Bacitracin and a Band-Aid.
4. Work on controlling the shoe environment to prevent the infection from coming back.
5. Watch for any signs of infection such as: redness of the surgical site, swelling of the surgical site, drainage from the surgical site, and or feeling sick.
6. Call the office if there are any concerns.
