Post-After procedure

1. You must have a responsible adult to drive you home. We advise that you not drive 24 hours

after procedure

2. Limit you activities for one to two days and get plenty of rest.

3. Avoid heavy work or excessive exercise for the next 24 hours.

4. No heavy lifting for 2-3 days.

5. Someone must stay with patient for the next 24 hours due to balance issues.

6. Continue taking pain medication as directed, you may experience some increase in pain

after local anesthetic wears off.

7. No soaking in water for the next 24 hours.

8. Apply ice to the injection area today if needed and moist heat tomorrow. If you have severe

pain or weakness please call us or go to the hospital.
