MMR

AFTER YOUR INJECTION: 

1.      You may have common side effects: mild fever, warmth, redness and swelling at the site. Take Tylenol and apply cold compresses to the site.

2.      Rash, hives, itching may develop. Take over the counter Benadryl.

3.      Come in for an evaluation should the above measures not be successful.

Seek Immediate Medical Attention Should The Following Side Effects Occur:  

1. Difficulty breathing, shortness of breath, tightness in the chest.


2. Swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue.


3. Unusual hoarseness, numbness or tingling of the arms or legs.


4. Seizures.


5. Unusual bruising or bleeding.


6. Unusual or severe muscle weakness.


7. Yellowing of the eyes or skin.


8. High fever.

Follow-Up as directed.
