Re: | Insurance Display in Current Charts |
To enhance workflow efficiency for providers performing cosign actions, a new Insurance column has been added to the Current Charts list within the EMR module. This enhancement allows providers and staff to easily identify patients by their active primary insurance directly from the chart view, reducing dependency on manually generated billing lists and improving overall cosign accuracy and speed.

Re: | Delegated Prescription Queue for Non-Controlled Medications |
We’re excited to introduce the Delegated Prescription Queue, a new feature designed to help Supervising Providers efficiently review and send prescriptions drafted by ancillary staff and mid-level providers (e.g., PAs, NPs). This streamlined workflow enhances compliance, safeguards patient safety, and speeds up prescription management by consolidating all delegated prescriptions into a single, easy-to-use interface for non-controlled medications.

Re: | Post-Appointment Messaging |
We are excited to announce the Post-Appointment Messaging feature, an update to improve patient preparedness and reduce last-minute administrative follow-ups. With this feature, patients are automatically reminded to complete their medical information in the Patient Portal if no activity is detected after an appointment is scheduled. The goal is to drive patient engagement, improve intake, and reinforce the value of accurate, complete health information.

Re: | Updated Controlled Prescription Tasking |
WRS Health now supports controlled substance routing by mid-level healthcare providers (HCP-Billing roles) such as PAs and NPs. This enhancement enables compliant and efficient routing of Schedule II controlled substance prescriptions to supervising physicians for electronic prescribing (EPCS), while maintaining a full audit trail and enforcing correct permission handling.
